Workshop October 2016

Ann Simpson led a workshop to prepare members for the Christmas Competition that will take place in November. She demonstrated two of the three designs, that for Beginners (A Cracking Christmas) and Intermediates (A Hippy Christmas). Below are Ann’s two designs together with some members hard at work:

Harrogate Autumn Show 2016

Three members of the Club, Ann Simpson, Daphne Dawson and Peter Mathers were involved in designing a non-judged exhibit at the Harrogate Autumn Show together with four other Clubs in the North East Area. The class title was “It’s a Pantomime” and our exhibit was “Puss in Boots”. Below are Ann, Daphne and Peter with their exhibit which earned them much favourable comment.dsc_7048

Annual General Meeting September 2016

Officers changed and awards were handed out at the AGM that took place in September.

Garden Visit July 2016

A large contingent of members and friends gained privileged access to the beautiful garden of Marston Grange, just to the east of York. We were favoured by beautiful weather and some great views over the surrounding historic countryside of the Vale of York.
