An extremely good turn out of sixteen brave members of New Earswick Flower Club put their thinking caps on for a Competition Night and came up with some superb designs interpreting three classes (Advanced: “Dining Out”; Intermediate: “Afternoon Tea”; Beginners: “Picnic Time”) ably judged by our own member Tony Cleaver.
Here’s the hall whilst some of the competitors had completed their entries, and others were adding finishing touches.
Winners of each classes are pictured here together with their designs.
Also commended was Sue Cawood who won the Best in Show, and Alison Jackson who won the Best Improver.
